The Investor Showcase, supported by the City of London Corporation and part-funded by the Capital Accelerate & Scale Tech Superstar (CASTS) Project”, offers investors an opportunity to meet and invest in early stage tech, SEIS/EIS potentially eligible companies. You will hear from six high-growth potential companies in 10-min pitches and have the opportunity for 5-min Q&A after each presentation.


The company selection is a highly competitive process and applications have been carefully assessed to select 6 investment opportunities in this space. A brochure with information on each pitching company will be available at the event.

The company presentations will be followed by drinks and canapés, allowing you to find out more about the businesses and network with the entrepreneurs, like-minded investors and the Newable Private Investing team.

The Alan Turing Institute is the national institute for data science, with headquarters at the British Library.

The Institute is named in honour of Alan Turing (23 June 1912 – 7 June 1954), whose pioneering work in theoretical and applied mathematics, engineering and computing are considered to be the key disciplines comprising the emerging field of data science.

Five founding universities – Cambridge, Edinburgh, Oxford, UCL and Warwick – and the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council created The Alan Turing Institute in 2015. Six new universities – Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Queen Mary University of London, Birmingham and Exeter – are set to join the Institute in 2018 - Visit www.turing.ac.uk.
